The revelation offers fans a rare glimpse into the reality star’s private health concerns, alongside her well-documented family and professional life.

Reality television personality Kim Kardashian on Friday disclosed that she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, a condition detected during a medical imaging scan.

In a preview clip for the upcoming season of The Kardashians on Disney+, the 45-year-old is seen undergoing a scan that reveals what doctors described as a “little aneurysm,” which was reportedly linked to stress.

The revelation offers fans a rare glimpse into the reality star’s private health concerns, alongside her well-documented family and professional life.

Kardashian stars in the hit series alongside her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, all of whom are expected to appear in the new season as they navigate their personal and professional lives.

While Kim did not disclose further medical details, doctors note that brain aneurysms, small bulges in the walls of blood vessels in the brain, are not uncommon and often go undetected.

According to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), they affect roughly one in every 50 people. Most do not cause symptoms and are typically discovered during tests for unrelated conditions.

However, larger aneurysms may present symptoms such as headaches, pain around the eyes, vision changes, dizziness, facial weakness, speech difficulties, or memory problems.

Risk factors include high blood pressure, smoking, or a family history of aneurysms.

The diagnosis comes at a time when Kardashian has spoken candidly about the impact of stress and emotional turmoil in her personal life.

In a recent interview with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the star opened up about her marriage to rapper Kanye West, saying she often felt “emotionally and financially unsafe” during their relationship.

Kardashian said she was constantly “on edge” due to West’s erratic behaviour, admitting she had felt conflicted between protecting herself and trying to help him.

“I always felt really bad for him and wanted to protect and help him,” she said. “Sometimes I’d think, ‘I should’ve stuck it out,’ or ‘I could’ve helped,’ but it reached a point where I didn’t feel safe anymore.”

The couple, who were married for eight years before finalizing their divorce in 2022, share four children, North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6).

Kardashian emphasized that her top priority now is shielding her children from public discussions about their father’s behaviour and ensuring they grow up in a stable environment.

“My focus is on protecting my kids,” she said. “I don’t want them hearing about things they’re too young to understand.”

Beyond her reality show, Kardashian continues to expand her career into new ventures. She is set to star in the upcoming Disney+ legal drama All’s Fair, alongside acclaimed Hollywood actors Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, and Teyana Taylor.

The series marks another chapter in her growing film and business portfolio, adding to her already diverse public image.

Her revelation about her health has drawn attention to the effects of chronic stress, especially among high-profile figures managing public and private pressures.

While details of her treatment or prognosis have not been shared, the disclosure underscores the importance of regular medical screening and mental wellness.

As anticipation builds for the new season of The Kardashians, fans and followers are expected to see more of Kim’s personal reflections and how she balances family, fame, and health in the public eye.
